I love this advert! It's just not what you would expect from the Thunderbirds character Brains. It has the same feel good factor to it as the Cadburys drumming gorilla advert. It is quite a long advert compared to many other adverts but it never gets boring. The message has been given a literal translation in an entertaining way. It will certainly get people talking about the advert, therefore raising the profile of the product.

Audi RS6
This advert is visually stunning. It is instantly engaging. The art direction and music create drama and energy. The different routines performed by the gymnasts represent different aspects of the car. The music features sounds of the car which relate to the gymnasts routines. I think it is really clever how they have managed to highlight the selling points of the car (it's features) without actually showing the car until the very end. A very well executed ad, further enhancing Audi's high quality image.
Persil Small and Mighty 'Pop Up Book'
I think this advert is really simple yet effective. The 'back to basics' style used through the pop up book is interesting and impressive. Although the style is simple there is a great deal of detail in each page of the book. I like the way the children are interacting with the book. This advert manages to create excitement and add interest to an otherwise everyday product.

Sony Walkman Ad
It seems Sony can do no wrong when it comes to adverts. Following on from the Sony Bravia adverts where Sony have tried to own colour, they are doing the same with music to advertise their walkman. It is another awe inspiring advert which makes viewers instantly engage with it. One of the reasons I think the Sony adverts are so successful is the sheer scale of them. It will be interesting to see how Sony develop these music adverts, having seen how they have developed the bravia colour ads.

Sony Bravia Bunny Advert
This is the follow up advert to Sony's bouncy balls and the splashes of paint advert. Unfortunately I do not think it is in the same league as the first one (the bouncy balls). Everything flowed seemlessly in the first advert and the music complemented it perfectly, helping create the feeling of wonder. It made it seem as though Sony really owned colour. However, in this advert, although I really like the method of animation used, I do not think it is as colourful, exciting and as awe inspiring as the other two. It is still an amazingly high quality advert and I do like it but Sony have set such a high standard with their previous adverts.
I found some interesting facts about the advert:
2.5 tonnes of plasticine were used
200 bunnies
40 animators
and one 30ft giant bunny!

Cadbury's Gorilla Advert
This is the new advert for Cadbury. I am not sure how a Gorilla relates to chocolate but it is certainly an advert which will get people talking about it which, in turn, will work in Cadbury's favour. It is intended to simply make you smile, in the same way chocolate bars do!

LSC Skills advert
This is a government advert I have just seen on the television. I think it is amazing and very original. Unfortunately I cannot find out who made this advert. It stands out from many other government adverts and I think it will really make people stop and listen to it's message.

These are a couple of images from the website linked to the advert. These two images could be works of art in themselves. I think the swan is stunning.

New Fabia Skoda Advert

I love this new advert for Skoda. Considering Skoda has always had quite a poor public image I think this advert has totally changed everyone's perceptions of the company. In just 10 days of releasing the advert, 37,000 people visited their website. The tagline is 'The New Fabia. Full Of Lovely Stuff'. The concept of the advert and the song used, 'My Favourite Things' from the Sound Of Music, both work together to fulfill this promise.

There are some really interesting facts associated with this £500,000 advert, such as 180 eggs, 100kg of flour, 100kg of caster sugar and 12.5kg of jam were used to create this cake. I think it is really clever the things they have come up with as subsitutes for parts of the car, such as red jelly for the brake lights, boiled sweets for the headlights and liquorice for the bands in the engine.
